Our Mission and Mission Statement

Our mission is to gather support and participation from individuals, organizations, and community leaders to work together to solve some of the problems that we face in the city, and to find out and help out in areas where circumstances have been overlooked and either start programs to address unmet needs, or join forces with other nonprofits to work together to give help where needed to have a bigger impact in the lives of the people we aim to serve.

Our Purposes of Corporation

This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes as set forth in the Articles of Incorporation, and within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Revenue Law), including, but not limited to: Provide assistance with: Children, and Youth Development, Safety, Well-being, Economic and Environmental awareness, appreciation, and education; Trash / Litter remediation; Homeless rehabilitation; Family aid; Disaster relief; Hunger relief; Community, and economic development; Spotlighting and showing appreciation for people that are doing good works in our city; Partnering with businesses to help create employment opportunities; Increased public safety; Create working problem solving models and strategies, and implement these models and strategies in other cities as needed around the nation and around the world.

All Board members at City Problem Solvers are currently very happy to be a part of this organization. It is easy to see the hard work and dedication that they have for doing some good for this city.

Edmund Olszewski

President

A True Renaissance Man with a variety of skills that will help to  fulfill the many needs of nonprofit work.

In the past has worked for NBC news , FOX TV, NET TV,  and Welch Media Inc.

Jon Melendez

Vice - President

An Eagle Scout who joined the United States Marine Corps, and taught English to Japanese elementary students.

Has a Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration from Texas A&M International.

Darius Jones

Chairman of Data

Chief of Data Operations Division at the US Air Force, Team leader with 17+ years of information technology experience.

Most importantly is a truly devoted child  of God who is fully committed to King Jesus!

Experience in Student Affairs and is currently a Senior Activities & Transportation coordinator for a SA based retirement resort community.

Advancement Chair and Treasurer of Pack 506 with degrees in science and criminal justice from TSU.

Special Projects

Truck Operator for the City of San Antonio Recycling Department Collections Services.


Has a Christian Faith based podcast on Spotify and other platforms.

Donna Dozier

Youth Education

Ex military officer in the United Stated Army. Now serves as BSA Den Leader Pack 506, Girl Scout Troop 1226 Leader,


District Ten Community Leader, President Sierra North COA, PTA member El Dorado Elementary school,
